The World Affairs Club started off the year with a mock Provincial Election held in the lower school. The results were announced at the first meeting and according to J.C.I. Grades 9 and 10, the Liberals should now be in power.

Last autumn the Club also had the pleasure to hear Mr. Peter Booth of the Canadian University Council on Nuclear Disarmament who spoke on "Students and Peace".

To celebrate United Nations Day on Oct. 24th, the W.A.C. held an assembly starring Danny Kaye and U.N.I.C.E.F. (on film, of course).

A programme of discussions, informal meetings and a campaign for "Freedom From Hunger" rounded off the year.

The World Affairs Club would like to thank those who supported it and we hope that there will be more of you next year.
